your voice meeting with tenants and staff

We held our very first Your Voice Forum meeting in February.

The forums are a chance for residents to tell us what they think about particular policies and issues.

In February, we looked at resident engagement, talking about the different ways we engage with residents to listen to their views about our services. We discussed how residents’ voices shape how we do things.

It was a lively discussion and our forum gave us some great ideas around how we could improve the perception of the service.

They mentioned our branding could be better, to make it clearer to residents who we are and what we do across all platforms.

They suggested a clean up of the area, with staff out and about litter picking making a visible contribution to making public spaces nicer.

As our recent call waiting times have improved, they suggested sharing the figures with residents so they can see a real improvement over time.

They also felt that we rely too heavily on digital tools to communicate with residents and that we should consider bringing back more printed materials to reach people who are not online.

This valuable feedback has been shared with our teams who will take forward the suggestions.

Fancy joining us?

We meet monthly, and you can attend one meeting or all of them and you will receive feedback after each one on the actions that have been taken because of your feedback.

Our next meeting takes place on Wednesday 26th March 5.30pm to 7pm. We’re looking at supporting vulnerable residents and good neighbourhood management.

You can register to attend here.
