The Urban Crew helps to inspire the entrepreneurs of the future.
Our Urban Crew’s ‘Enterprise Day’ recently saw pupils from primary schools across north Manchester coming together to learn the basics of running their own business.
The youngsters own and run a business for the day, where they learn about creating their own products, and competing against each other to market and sell them.
The Urban Crew program, which we set up with the Manchester Communication Academy, gives pupils a range of opportunities like this that they wouldn't otherwise get to experience. At the end of the year, each crew member receives an ASDAN Key Steps award – the equivalent of a unit of a GCSE.
