In July, we heard from some of the wonderful community groups in the White Moss area who came together to share their ideas in the beautiful gardens of Whitebeck Court, our flagship extra care scheme.
Local residents were on hand to listen to the pitches “Dragons Den style,” and voted for their favourites.
The winners are:

They want to expand what they offer by starting a boxing club for local people. The sessions will be free and they aim to bring people of all ages and ethnicities together, reducing social isolation and bringing health and wellbeing to the community.
Equal Education Chances – their project, titled Rejuvenate will support the community to prioritise their health and wellbeing.
