Graeme Hall
Graeme joined Manchester City Council in 2023, he leads our strategic team. He started off his career training to be a pilot in the Royal Air Force until a flying accident changed his path.
He then joined Britannia Building Society on a management training scheme. He spent 10 years in financial services before moving into retail. He joined the housing sector in 2011 as Director of Customer Service for Anchor, England’s largest provider of housing for over 55s, he then became their Director of Housing, responsible for over 1,000 sheltered housing schemes across the country.
Graeme, with the support of the strategic leadership team is responsible for delivering the priorities outlined in our Place Called Home Strategy which sets out to provide high quality, resident led, housing services.
Graeme really enjoys the sense of purpose which comes from working in housing, “When we do our jobs well we can make a real difference to residents lives. There are very few roles which provide that sense of purpose.”
He also has his hands full in his spare time, looking after his two mini poodles Bella And Archie!
